All sessions are 50 minutes in duration, as we believe that this time allows the client to get the most out of the session.

Evolving Change office is located in the heart of Cairns City. Practice hours are Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm. However, appointments are available via phone or online video calls, as well as walk & talk sessions on the Cairns Esplanade or in a local coffee shop. Kia will also provide counselling services in her clients’ homes (from Cairns City south to Gordonvale) if they are unable to attend another location by appointment only.

There is no right or wrong here, and everyone is different. Some clients find that they require a weekly or fortnightly appointment, and some prefer monthly.This is up to you, and we will work to your preferred schedule for as long as you feel you are receiving a benefit from the sessions. We believe there is no timeframe for recovery.

Kia works with all people aged 14 years and over, however, she can also work with children if they have been referred by their parent or guardian.

Unfortunately Evolving Change is a private practice and rebates are not available. We do aim to keep our prices as affordable as possible.  If you have any questions please get in touch with Evolving Change to discuss your individual needs.

Due to the nature of my private practice and the specific context in which I see clients, I do not provide clinical notes or documentation for third-party claims. This is communicated to clients at the outset of our work together. If you require documentation for external purposes, I recommend consulting a psychologist who can provide the necessary reports.
